You will need a suspension-specific air pump.
1. Locate the valve labeled “AIR” on the brake-side fork leg.
2. Remove the valve cap and attach the pump.
3. Inflate the fork according to your body weight.
A recommended pressure chart is printed on the fork sticker.
If the sticker is missing, please refer to the user manual, where we list the recommended front fork air pressure values for different rider weight ranges.
Discover 3 and Discover M come standard with:
- Pre-installed fenders
- Rear cargo rack
No additional purchase or installation is required.
The torque sensor offers more intuitive and efficient assistance for riders who alternate between high and low speeds.
It provides smoother and more natural power delivery, especially when riding on uneven or rough terrain.
The cadence sensor delivers a lighter riding experience and is better suited for long-distance, higher-speed riding.
Riders can explore different usage scenarios based on their own riding environment and preferences.
A mid-drive motor works through the bike’s drivetrain, allowing assistance to align more closely with pedaling cadence.Key benefits include:
- Smoother low-power assistance
- Improved energy efficiency
- More natural riding feel
- Better overall weight balance
In short: more natural pedaling, higher efficiency, and improved bike control.
Custom Mode is an optional advanced speed setting available on Discover 3 and Discover M.
When enabled through the Velotric App, it allows riders—where permitted by local regulations— to unlock the throttle in Class 3 and reach speeds up to 28 mph. Riders can still switch between Class 1 / 2 / 3 / Custom Mode anytime on the display. Please note that due to state regulations, this option is unavailable in California, but it is supported in all other regions.
1. Connect your bike to the Velotric App
2. Allow location permissions
3. Go to Bike Settings → Custom Mode
4. Follow the in-app instructions
To learn how to use Custom Mode, please refer to the
Velotric system introduction video (Chapter 3.1)

Yes, the batteries are interchangeable between the Discover 2 and Discover M.
IMPORTANT Note: A firmware update is strictly required prior to swapping. To ensure accurate range estimation and prevent battery performance issues, you MUST update both the controller and battery firmware to the latest versions.
How to update:Please connect to the Velotric App and navigate to: Bike Settings > Firmware Update to complete this required step.
